You did everything
right — and still
feel empty inside.

This isn't a productivity hack or a 30-day challenge with a leaderboard. It's a quiet invitation back to the part of you that got buried under ambition, noise, and a life that looked good on paper.

You feel like life has lost its color — you're going through the motions but the joy isn't there
Being alone with your thoughts is uncomfortable — stillness feels like something to avoid
You've tried the apps, the diets, the gym — and something essential is still missing
You sense your ancestors understood something about healing that modern life has erased
You want real connection — to yourself, to nature, to something that feels like belonging
You're in your 20s, 30s, or 40s and quietly wondering if this is really as good as it gets

Grew up in Sweden · Persian roots
Lives in rural Pennsylvania

I know what it feels like to do everything right and still feel lost. I grew up in Sweden where friluftsliv — the practice of unhurried time in nature — was simply how life worked. Then I moved to Los Angeles at 18, and over a decade, I quietly lost that thread.

The lowest point came all at once: a divorce, a fractured rib still healing, 30 extra pounds, and my mother's Alzheimer's diagnosis landing in the same year. I started hiking just to get out of the house. There was one trail — 3.4 miles with a brutal uphill at the start — that I committed to every single day.

On day 30, for the first time, it didn't feel hard. That moment changed everything. The hiking led to quitting drinking. The stillness led back to my Persian grandmother's garden and the herbal wisdom she'd carried her whole life. My mind started healing in ways that a decade of professional training hadn't fully prepared me for.

This guide is everything I wish I'd had at the beginning of that journey — distilled into 7 days, grounded in ancestral wisdom, and designed for real life.
